Herein, two title compounds, N-benzoyl-N′-(4′-cyanophenyl)thiourea (1) and N-(4-nitrobenzoyl)-N′-(4′-cyanophenyl)thiourea (2) were synthesized in a high yield, via different applications of aroyl isocyanate 4-aminobenzonitrile.
